Terrifying Videos Show Massive Illinois Tornadoes Wreak Havoc

A series of massive tornadoes swept through the Midwest last night, destroying hundreds of buildings and killing at least one person.

According to CNN, eight tornadoes were reported in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa, with an enormous wedge tornado ripping through Rochelle and Fairdale, Il, destroying both of the the rural, sparsely-populated towns. Damage from the storm was limited, but Live Storm Media witnessed its immense power when a gust knocked over a standing flatbed truck:

Other states reported hailstones “the size of tennis balls” and houses and barns completely gone. The storm front is expected to move eastward, with tornado watches in Ohio and Kentucky, and severe thunderstorm warnings in place in North Carolina and Georgia.
