‘The Clinton News Network is One’: Trump Takes Shot at CNN For Being ‘Bad at Polling’
After railing against the “fake news” media at today’s CPAC speech, President Donald Trump then criticized polls from specific media outlets, specifically ones that were not favorable to him.
Pointing to the crowd and saying the media doesn’t count them as “part of the story,” Trump then claimed another thing the media does is make up polls.
“So when they make it up, and they make up something else,” he stated. “And you saw that before the election, polls, polls. The polls. They come out with these polls.”
After commending the Los Angeles Times for getting the election right with their polls, he then took a shot at CNN for its polling. After criticizing an outlet for coming out with a recent poll, he jokingly said he wasn’t going to name them.
With the crowd chanting ‘CNN,’ Trump then made the following comment: “Let’s not even mention names, right? Shall we? Well, we have a lot of them. The Clinton News Network is one.”
Following loud cheers from the crowd, the president then railed against CNN for their polling.
“Take a look,” POTUS exclaimed. “Honestly, take a look at their polls over the last two years. Now, you would think they would fire the pollster, right? After years and years of getting battered. But I mean, who knows, maybe they’re just bad at polling. Or maybe they’re not legit.”
