The LAPD Is Looking for Shotgun That Fell off a Police Motorcycle

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently searching for a shotgun that fell off a police motorcycle. Yes, it fell off. The incident happened yesterday and police were quick to shut down the area where they believed the incident occurred.

Once again, it just… fell off.

The LAPD says the locking mechanism just broke and the gun fell off the motorcycle. Also, they’re not sure if it was loaded or not.

The hunt for the shotgun continued into today, but not without incident. During the search, one LAPD officer ended up getting bitten in the leg by a police dog. His partner quickly applied a tourniquet and he was brought to the hospital immediately.
