The Senate GOP Made a Bizarre Wes Anderson-Style Video. No, Seriously.

Ever wanted to see your elected leaders do a Wes Anderson-style #SquadGoals video? Well, now you’re in luck, person with weirdly specific wishes.

The Senate Republicans put out a video today aping the style of the artsy director, starring Mitch McConnell and other Republican senators.

The purpose of the video is to tout accomplishments of Senate Republicans on a whole host of domestic and foreign policy issues.

But really, that’s a little secondary to the truly strange creative direction they gave it.
