This Exists: Animal Rights Activist Interrupts Rodeo, Gets Lassoed By Participants

In hindsight, I guess that these protesters should have seen this coming. Animal rights activists protesting a rodeo in Santiago, Chile, were met with the exact sort of treatment one might expect when surrounded by a number of vaqueros con cuerda.

This video was originally published on the website Boing Boing, and the original poster explained the clip:

A 17-year-old kid (or “woman”, as the press prefers to call it) is lassoed and dragged by a horseman after she and other animal rights activists entered a corral to protest against the rodeo. According to the news article linked here, the Chilean Rodeo Federation’s director “regretted what happened, but at the same time justified the attitude of the riders”.
