‘This Is a Tough Moment’: Donna Brazile Tweets About What’s Next for the DNC
Interim DNC Chair Donna Brazile tweeted today about the road ahead for Democrats after Hillary Clinton‘s big loss to Donald Trump.
Brazile admitted it’s been tough, but said there’s going to be a review (an autopsy, perhaps?) to determine what happened:
What's on your menu? This is a tough moment for the entire Democratic family. We fought hard & came up short. I've been honored to serve you

During this period of transition — of reviewing everything we did right or wrong, there will be a process to allow everyone to have input.

Over the next few months, it's the responsibility of the interim Chair & other party officials to complete the work of this cycle.

The next Chair of the Democratic National Committee must earn your support & confidence. Along with officers, the leadership needs you.

Next week, I will make several important and vital announcements. Stay tuned. And don't forget to thank a Veteran tomorrow. #BetterTogether.

Brazile met with DNC staffers earlier today, and it was reported that one of them snapped at her and said, “You backed a flawed candidate, and your friend (Schultz) plotted through this to support your own gain and yourself. You are part of the problem.”
Former DNC chair Howard Dean announced earlier today he’ll be running for his old position. The only other big name to throw his hat in the ring was Congressman Keith Ellison, who back in July of 2015 warned everyone that Trump could be the GOP nominee and everyone else on the panel laughed in his face.
