Those Are NOT Headphones: One Family Gets a Fishy Christmas Surprise…
A Washington family was in for quite a surprise when the Beats headphones they ordered for Christmas arrived, and 14-year-old Carmen Lopez opened the box to find not headphones, but several cans of tuna fish, which were not, in fact, by Dre. Steve Lopez ordered the headphones online and picked them up at a local Wal-Mart, and clearly, no one was happy to find out they spent all that money on what costs a mere fraction at the local supermarket.
Oh, and his youngest daughter is allergic to tuna, so there’s that.
Wal-Mart gave them a refund, not a replacement pair of headphones, but fortunately an executive at Beats by Dre heard about the story and decided she wants to donate a pair to Lopez to make up for the mix-up.
And hey, they got four cans of tuna fish out of the deal too, so… upside?
