Times Square Vendor Describes Thank You Phone Call From Pres. Obama
FNC’s Shepard Smith interviewed one of the heroes of the attempted Times Square car bomb plot, Duane Jackson, a “street vendors who helped alert the cops.”
Jackson detailed his morning, which included a visit to FBI headquarters…and a call from the President.
Jackson had been on “that corner for 13 years,” and when he saw smoke coming from the car he was one of the first to alert police. Today he went to FBI headquarters because they told him they “wanted me to look at some pictures.”
Instead, there was a call for him from Pres. Barack Obama:
He said, ‘Thank you very much, I appreciate what you did, the whole country does, and New Yorkers. Thank you for your diligence in acting so fast and being a good American.’
