Tom Brokaw Tears Into Trump For His Response to McCain’s Passing: ‘Ignoring His Death is a Disgrace’

One of America’s most prominent news figures is condemning President Donald Trump for his response to Sen. John McCain‘s death.
In a Monday morning tweet, longtime NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw slammed the president for offering little reaction to the death of the widely respected statesman.

In a widely-criticized move, the Flag outside the White House is flying at full staff Monday, after being lowered to half staff on Saturday and Sunday. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are issuing a bipartisan call for the flag to be lowered once again.
Further, Trump reportedly put the kibosh on a White House statement paying tribute to McCain, and also ignored questions about the late senator during a White House pool spray on Monday.
