Trump Comes to Sen. Bill Cassidy’s Defense: ‘Class Act Who…Doesn’t Lie’

A day after late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel hammered at Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), claiming the lawmaker lied to him about his health care bill passing the “Jimmy Kimmel test,” President Donald Trump came to the conservative senator’s defense.

Earlier today, Trump said that the Obamacare repeal bill that Cassidy is pushing in the Senate has a “very good chance” of passing. The president also took shots at the current health care law, calling it dysfunctional.
