Trump Continues Twitter Attack on John Lewis: He Should Focus on ‘Burning and Crime Infested Inner-Cities’
President-elect Donald Trump continued his attacks on Congressman John Lewis (D GA-5) Saturday night.
After a pair of tweets earlier in the day, Trump returned to social media early Saturday evening to fire off more criticism at the Congressman — who, in an NBC interview, said he doesn’t consider Trump to be a “legitimate President,” and plans to boycott Friday’s Inauguration.
Congressman John Lewis should finally focus on the burning and crime infested inner-cities of the U.S. I can use all the help I can get!

This was essentially the same line of criticism Trump had earlier in the day:

Those tweets prompted Lewis’s supporters to Tweet bucolic images from the district using the hashtag #Defendthe5th, which run counter to Trump’s description of the area.
