Trump Coy Amid Reports U.S. Prisoners Have Been Released By North Korea: ‘Stay Tuned!’

On Wednesday, the Financial Times published a report (a report which multiple outlets ran with) which said that three U.S. citizens who were arrested and have been held in a North Korean labor camp were released.

But President Donald Trump is playing it coy.

In a Wednesday evening Tweet, the president did not confirm the Financial Times report. But he didn’t deny it either.

“As everybody is aware, the past Administration has long been asking for three hostages to be released from a North Korean Labor camp, but to no avail,” Trump wrote. “Stay tuned!”
