Trump Deletes, Reposts Unhinged Rant Praising ‘Sidney’ Sweeney for ‘HOTTEST Ad Out There’ and Bashing Taylor Swift

President Donald Trump weighed in on a critically important topic Monday morning: a denim ad starring Sydney Sweeney. He also threw in some insults for Jaguar, Bud Lite, and Taylor Swift — and quickly deleted the post, possibly because he misspelled the actress’s name as “Sidney” Sweeney.
The “Truth” was first posted at 9:56 am ET, and took aim at the critics of Sweeney’s new ad campaign for American Eagle. The ads feature Sweeney wearing their denim and making puns with “genes” and “jeans” — “I have great jeans,” “My jeans are blue,” etc.
Some liberal critics bashed the ads as “Nazi propaganda” and a “eugenics dog whistle,” citing Sweeney’s blue eyes and blonde hair, while conservative pundits pushed back on the “liberal overreach.” American Eagle has stood by their ad and muse, issuing a statement saying the ad campaign “is and always was about the jeans,” because “[g]reat jeans look good on everyone.”
MAGA commenters cheered media reports confirming the White Lotus and Euphoria star is a registered Republican in Florida, and Trump himself reacted to the news with delight when questioned by a reporter. The controversy has been heavily covered on Fox News, including on Monday morning not too long before Trump posted about it.
The president took to his Truth Social account to affirm that praise for Sweeney — misspelling her name as “Sidney” in his first attempt.

Jaguar and Bud Light did get backlash for recent ad campaigns, but it is not accurate to say that either company has been “destroyed.”
Regarding Swift, she was not “booed out of the Super Bowl.” Attending the game to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, some fans booed and some cheered when she was shown on the Jumbotron early on, but 1) she didn’t leave then so thus was not “booed out” of the game, and 2) numerous commentators pointed out that the booing could have been from Eagles fans, a notoriously rowdy fanbase, irritated Swift was cheering for the Chiefs when she had grown up an Eagles fan.
As to whether Swift is “NO LONGER HOT,” she’s a billionaire who has won 14 Grammys (including a record four Album of the Year awards), wrapped a record-setting world tour last year, topped the charts with her “Taylor’s version” re-releases of her prior albums, and just bought back her masters in May — setting a new round of records as Swifties propelled her entire catalog to the top of the streaming charts in celebration.

It should perhaps be noted that Trump’s vitriol towards Swift spiked after she endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris last September.
