Trump Endorses Candidate Who Once Said She Couldn’t Vote For Him And Still Look Her Children in the Eye

President Donald Trump endorses Congresswoman Martha Roby. But Congresswoman Martha Roby did not endorse President Donald Trump.
Friday morning, Trump put his support behind Roby for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional district over a “Nancy Pelosi voting Democrat”:
Congresswoman Martha Roby of Alabama has been a consistent and reliable vote for our Make America Great Again Agenda. She is in a Republican Primary run-off against a recent Nancy Pelosi voting Democrat. I fully endorse Martha for Alabama 2nd Congressional District!

There’s only one teensy-weensy little problem. In 2016, Martha Roby said she couldn’t vote for Trump and still look her kids in the face.
“I cannot look my children in the eye and justify a vote for a man who promotes and boasts about sexually assaulting women,” she said after the release of the infamous Access Hollywood tape.
Oh wow. Roby withdrew her support for Trump in 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape came out. “I cannot look my children in the eye and justify a vote for a man who promotes and boasts about sexually assaulting women,” she said. https://t.co/rzvJIaDbC1

Roby has been forced into a runoff against her Democrat-turned-Republican opponent, Bobby Bright, who accused her of being disloyal to Trump.
Meanwhile, Roby appears to have changed her tune about the commander-in-chief. “I sat in the Oval Office and looked the President in the eye and told him I was with him,” she said back in March.
Martha, Martha, Martha.
