Trump: I Have Confidence Kim Jong Un ‘Will Honor the Contract We Signed’ and ‘Our Handshake’

President Donald Trump this morning tweeted about his “confidence” that Kim Jong Un will honor the agreement they made about denuclearization.
“I have confidence that Kim Jong Un will honor the contract we signed &, even more importantly, our handshake,” he posted. “We agreed to the denuclearization of North Korea. China, on the other hand, may be exerting negative pressure on a deal because of our posture on Chinese Trade-Hope Not!”

Over the weekend North Korea criticized the U.S. after talks with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, including accusing the United States of a “gangster-like mindset.”
But this has only raised more questions:
Uh, a contract? Can we see a copy? https://t.co/UUV43YgfvF

Blaming this on China is an interesting tactic that is sure not to backfire. https://t.co/7fF1gywtT7

"More importantly, our handshake."
Appealing to the DPRK's sense of honor. That will work. https://t.co/bU9FInmkI8
