It took a few days, but President Donald Trump finally weighed in on LeBron James‘ interview with CNN’s Don Lemon.
Oh, not the part where James talked about the school he opened to help out hundreds of at-risk kids, the part where he dared criticize the President:
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!

But for some strange reason, a lot of people were angry at the President for such a juvenile attack on James while he’s in the news for doing a genuine public good:
No matter how bad your life gets, no matter how lonely or isolated you feel, you’ll never be the president of the United States angrily tweeting about a LeBron James interview on a Friday night https://t.co/Ly22NEJtDe

You ever have a tweet that sounded great in your head but didn't read that great when you typed it out? ?? #ThisIsWhatYourDraftsFolderIsFor https://t.co/LfisXcWgWH

So, you figured since you'll never beat @BarackObama's "most liked" Tweet you'd go for "most ratio-ed"? https://t.co/MiXG7qTn2H

Another ignorant statement from the dumbest man ever to occupy the Oval Office (many people are saying). We’re fighting to #LowerHealthCareCosts #IncreasePay #CleanUpCorruption. Get. A. Life. https://t.co/xPOQCWDqE1

Rather than criticizing @KingJames, we should be celebrating him for his charity work and efforts to help kids.
By the way, all-around he’s better than Michael Jordan. That’s a fact.

What responsible & right-thinking adult can point to @realDonaldTrump as a role model for our youth? Whenever he spews lies, insults, and polarizing hate speech against fellow Americans, think of its harmful impact on our young people and the way they talk, act, & treat others. https://t.co/S8sPpydvt9
