Trump’s Live Announcement Choosing Celebrity Apprentice Over Running For President

Well it’s official, Donald Trump chose to surround himself with more celebrities next year rather than with potential voters, as the NBC show goes on and the Republican primary contest loses its biggest and most entertaining potential contestant. Trump, speaking at NBC’s Fall Upfront presentation said, “I love Celebrity Apprentice. We’ve raised tens of millions of dollars for charity.”

Trump then revealed to the enthusiastic crowd:

“I’ve decided that we are going to continue onward with Celebrity Apprentice, we are going to continue making lots and lots of money for charity. I will not be running for President, as much as I’d like to.”

After getting so many calls from NBC’s executives urging him to stay with the show, and potentially after looking at his falling poll numbers, Trump officially ended his flirtation with the presidency at the NBC event. And at least judging from the crowd’s reaction, it seems like he made the most popular decision.
