Twitter Goes Absolutely Nuts Over Sammy Sosa’s Cowboy Photo: ‘Is That…Sammy Sosa?’
So this was a thing that happened this weekend.
Anyone who has followed the saga of one-time Chicago Cubs great Sammy Sosa knows that he has gone something of a, shall we say, physical transformation since retiring from baseball. Pictures of the former NL MVP in recent years show a much different looking Sosa, as his skin appears a lot lighter. On top of that, he’s been seen in all types of garb that one wouldn’t normally associate with ‘ex-superstar athlete.’
Keeping in that recent tradition, we got the following photo of Sosa from his wife’s cowboy-themed birthday party. And, umm, yeah. It is certainly…something.
And just as you’d figure, Twitter had an absolute field day with it.
