Twitter Rips Bannon for Criticizing Corker’s ‘Ridicule’ of Trump: ‘Give Me a Break’

Steve Bannon today ripped Bob Corker for how he’s “mocked and ridiculed” President Trump, but the line got him some criticism on Twitter.
Meghan McCain in particular wasn’t impressed:
Trump slammed my dads service when both of my brothers were (and still are) currently serving. Give me a break with this. https://t.co/yuLqqio5QL

And others on Twitter similarly rolled their eyes:
I remember how deeply offended Bannon was by any mockery and ridicule of the last Commander-in-Chief. Oh wait. https://t.co/PXfplwUHHH

2/ not only that, but very first entry when one googles "senator mocks obama" is a story by… wait for it… Breitbart. Run by Bannon.

4/ or how about "GOP Senator Jokes About Praying for Obama’s Death" https://t.co/Q2Gt1Y8Ai9

5/ In short, as others have said, feelings aren't facts. ###

1) Corker wasn’t mocking Trump; very gravely warned of his unfitness and incapacity.
2) Does the “no mockery” rule apply to all presidents? https://t.co/eEgnkJpHfX— David Frum (@davidfrum) October 14, 2017
Bannon, you heap of venal body soil, we can mock the CiC because people serve. https://t.co/RKHCoaL9a6

It's because we have "kids" in the field that Corker openly questioned the fitness of an incompetent and unfit Commander-in-Chief. https://t.co/v0wNdOYVvi

Nobody tell Steve Bannon what Steve Bannon was saying about the president for eight years before Trump https://t.co/mIbbp7RsSt

Trump mocked John McCain, saying 'I like people who weren't captured.' https://t.co/4wEG0XNL33

In some places, I believe that is called free speech https://t.co/8jp3Ub6nJf

A reminder: Trump has never apologized to McCain for saying he wasn't a war hero because he was captured https://t.co/ci0bmavnpa https://t.co/tfgeMNybxd

First their Frankenstein got loose, now it’s trying to eat them. Karma etc, but this is bad for us all and nobody knows how to turn it back. https://t.co/CBpJi7OlDs
