Three People Shot at Florida State University (UPDATED)
Update — Nov. 20, 8:35 a.m. ET: — Three people were injured when a lone gunman opened fire at Florida State University late Wednesday night. Two were being treated at a nearby hospital Thursday morning, with one in critical condition, while the third was released at the scene.
Update — Nov. 20, 3:24 p.m. ET: — The Associated Press has identified the shooter as FSU alumnus Myron May.
The gunman was killed by police, who did not indicate whether he was a student.
Original story:: Two people were shot at Florida State University tonight after a gunman opened fire in the Strozier library on campus. FSU News reports that students heard sirens around 12:30 a.m. and witnesses heard four gunshots from the library.
The university is currently in lockdown and the gunman is now reportedly in custody. Some pictures of the current scene on campus, from inside and outside the building, have been circulating on social media:

The Vice President of Student Affairs confirmed that there were two victims and the gunman was killed:
