VIDEO: Mob Throws Ukrainian Politician into Dumpster

To protest a bill banning protesting outside Parliament, angry Ukrainian protesters today threw its main advocate, lawmaker Vitaly Zhuravsky, into a dumpster conveniently placed outside the Parliament building in Kiev.

As NBC explains it, Zhuravsky has “a history of authorizing bills placing restrictions on anti-government protests and criminalizing libel,” which “did not appear to play well in his favor.” That point was compounded as more protesters threw tire pieces at the man.

Zhuravsky was eventually retrieved by security personnel.
