WATCH: Beyoncé Sings National Anthem At President Obama’s Second Inauguration

President Obama’s second inauguration will include many performances from his famous supporters. The most notable, perhaps, will be pop megastar Beyoncé’s performance of the national anthem from the steps of the Capitol during the swearing-in ceremony.

Obama will have had famous singers perform the anthem at both of his inaugurations, an unusual trend as most other presidents have employed members of the military to perform. At his first inauguration, Beyoncé’s musical predecessor Aretha Franklin performed “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
