WATCH LIVE: Ferguson Continues to Protest Michael Brown Shooting

After dozens of arrests Monday night, protests continue Tuesday in Ferguson, Missouri over the shooting death of Michael Brown and the subsequent militarized response of the Ferguson and St. Louis county police.

Tensions eased in the community after Missouri Highway Patrol took charge of the situation last Thursday; however, protests rekindled following the release of surveillance footage allegedly showing Brown robbing a convenience store before the shooting. Governor Jay Nixon (D) denounced the release of the video, which the DOJ had tried to stop, for inflaming the situation.

Earlier in the day on Tuesday, Missouri Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson told the people who are abiding the law, “We will get through this.” To the “agitators,” he said, “You will not defeat us.”
