WATCH: Pentagon Briefs on Syrian Airstrikes

Shortly after President Barack Obama’s statement on last night’s air strikes in Syria, Director of Operations Lt. Gen. William Mayville will speak about the operation, which represented a significant escalation in the military operations against ISIS.

The U.S., along with five Middle East countries, struck at multiple targets along the Syrian/Iraqi border, the first U.S. incursion into Syria. The U.S. also struck at the al Qaeda group Khorasan, hitting recruitment bases.
