Watch this Panthers Fan Unleash a Series of Violent Punches on Another Fan (Warning: Graphic)
So far this NFL season — we’ve spotlighted some abhorrent, violent behavior from fans in several spots around the league. We chronicled two scuffles in the stands in Washington during a Week 1 game between the Redskins and the Eagles. And we’ve posted about a wild melee in the parking lot outside the Oakland Alameda Coliseum.
The latest example of horrific NFL fan conduct takes us to Charlotte, NC — where the Carolina Panthers took on the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday night. In the clip above (via Deadspin) — which, we warn you, is graphic — one fan in a Panthers jersey can be seen cold-cocking another fan who was seated with a vicious overhand right.
The punch drew blood immediately. The fan who threw the punch followed up with three more shots — all of which landed to some degree, although none did as much damage as that first blow. The fan who was hit tried to cover his face while bleeding profusely from his left cheek. While other fans in the area tried to break up the fight.
We ask again: When will the NFL do something about all of the violence at their games?
