Watch This Rice Offensive Lineman Solve a Rubik’s Cube in Less Than a Minute Without Even Looking

Screen Shot 2016-09-07 at 10.58.20 AMEver fumble around with a Rubik’s Cube for hours on end — unable, seemingly, to make even the slightest bit of progress? It can be a truly maddening endeavor — one to which Calvin Anderson cannot relate.

Anderson, an offensive lineman for Rice, has a photographic memory — which gives him the remarkable ability to solve the popular brain-bender in seconds.

Without even looking at it.

Check out the amazing video below, via CBS Sports football analyst Jay Feely on Twitter.

Anderson told the American Sports Network in 2015 that he learned how to solve the Cube in the seventh grade from a friend who showed him an Internet tutorial.

“Something about it just stuck with me, and I kept messing with it,” he said. “Over the years, I developed my own way of solving it.”

He added, “I’ve told people, ‘It’s like solving a Sudoku, the same intuitive thinking.’”
