White House, Netanyahu’s Office: Leaked Obama Israel Call Is Fake

Israeli media reported on what was believed to be a transcript of President Obama‘s call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which Obama reportedly told Israel to “halt all offensive activities.” There’s just one problem: both the White House and Netanyahu’s office have officially called this transcript a fake.

The White House made it very clear this isn’t the actual call.

This "transcript of POTUS-PM call" report is totally false

The U.S. National Security Council, Netanyahu’s office, and the U.S. ambassador to Israel all issued statements calling this a fake. Or rather, they issued a statement, because they literally said the exact same thing:
