‘You Are Raping Her’: Biden Gives Speech at University About Drunk Sex and Consent

During a speech yesterday at George Mason University, Joe Biden made it clear: If you’re having sex with someone drunk, “you are raping her.”
Those are his exact words and they should come as no surprise. Biden has been a vocal advocate against campus sexual assault for years. This blunt, no-nonsense talk was just another example of his commitment to lowering the rates of assault — especially against college women — in America.
He brought celebrities on-board over the years and has continued advocating even after handing the vice presidency over to predecessor Mike Pence. He was equally bold with his outright proclamation that Donald Trump‘s advice to “grab [women] by the pussy” was a straight-up call to assault, too.
His outreach to George Mason took a more direct route than his comedic attempt last year to go undercover as a frat bro for a clip he made with Funny or Die. To the assembled students, he said this:
College campuses are communities, the place where people’s attitudes are affected, changed and altered. You all have an opportunity to begin to change the culture.
He received a standing ovation at the end of his remarks.
