‘You’re Cynical and Envious!’ Caller Scolds Michael Savage for Blasting Beck’s Border Kids Aid

As Mediaite readers are likely aware, Michael Savage really does not like any of his right-wing radio competitors. In recent weeks, he’s targeted Glenn Beck, calling him a “con man” for his plans to deliver food and clothing to the thousands of migrant children stranded at the U.S.-Mexico border.

When a listener named “Sandy” phoned in this week to defend Beck, Savage took umbrage, to say the least.

Sandy posited to the host that while Beck wants to supply humanitarian aid to the children, he most definitely does not support amnesty for undocumented immigrants. “He wants to help them and then send their butts back,” she said.

“Why is he pandering to the mobs of illegals on the border?” Savage asked. “What’s with the food truck? These children are not starving! That’s grandstanding… They’re eating like kings in these shelters. There’s no starvation. Don’t you understand how blatantly cynical this is!?

Sandy scolded Savage in her response: “No, I think you’re cynical and envious and you condemn every other host.”

The radio host told his caller she does not understand the immigration situation as well as he does, at one point asking: “Are you aware that Glenn Beck is fronting for the Mormon Church?”
