Joe Rogan Tears Into Conservatives for Embracing Cancel Culture: ‘I Didn’t Know You F*cking Idiots Would Do the Same Sh*t’

On Friday, Joe Rogan reacted with puzzlement to the conservatives who criticized Black Rifle Coffee Company CEO and founder Evan Hafer for remarks he made in an interview with The New York Times.

“When people were attacking you, I got butt-hurt,” said Rogan. “I was like, come on. Evan? Get the fuck outta here.”

The company is popular among conservatives, and that includes certain extremist elements, such as Eric Munchel, a.k.a. “zip-tie guy,” who has an affinity for the brand and was photographed wearing a Black Rifle hat after he stormed the Capitol on January 6.

In the Times feature, titled, “Can the Black Rifle Coffee Company Become the Starbucks of the Right?” Hafer denounced the extremist elements on the right. “It’s such a repugnant group of people,” he said. “It’s like the worst of American society, and I got to flush the toilet of some of those people that kind of hijacked portions of the brand.”

“The racism [expletive] really pisses me off,” Hafer said. “I hate racist, Proud Boy-ish people. Like, I’ll pay them to leave my customer base. I would gladly chop all of those people out of my [expletive] customer database and pay them to get the [expletive] out.”

He was taken to task by outlets and social media personalities such as PJ Media, Andy Ngô, John Cardillo, Kurt Schlichter, among others.

“It was so weird to see cancel culture come from the right. I was like, I didn’t know it worked that way. I didn’t know you fucking idiots would do the same shit. Like, what is going on?”

Rogan added, “It was the weirdest dog pile I’ve ever watched.”
