‘Brown Lives Matter’: Kash Patel Rages That DOJ ‘Jeopardized His Safety’ By Leaving His Name Unredacted in Mar-a-Lago Affidavit

Kash Patel says DOJ is putting him in danger after his name was left unredacted in Trump affidavit

Former Trump administration official Kash Patel railed against the Department of Justice after his name appeared unredacted in the Mar-a-Lago affidavit that was released on Friday, saying it was putting his life at risk.

The affidavit’s release on Friday resulted in a flurry of reactions from ex-president Donald Trump and those in his orbit, including Patel, who has been a prominent voice on the Mar-a-Lago raid since vehemently arguing to Maria Bartiromo Trump’s authority to declassify material with a wave of his hand.

As Bartiromo noted in that interview, Patel was working directly on the issue of documents at Mar-a-Lago and had been in direct contact with the National Archives. It was in that capacity that he was referenced by name in the affidavit. Multiple social media users drew attention to the appearance of his name, including ex-FBI official Peter Strzok.

On Truth Social, Patel said that his name being included, rather than redacted as much of the document was, represents a “vicioous” attack designed to put him at personal risk.

“Today marks another vicious attack from DOJ/FBI who intentionally jeopardized my safety by un-redacting my name in the most reviewed search warrant in the history of the United States,” he wrote in a statement. “This cartel of corruption inside our government is so devoid of concern about national security, they could not be bothered to see the judge in-person. Instead, they literally called in the raid on the home of a former president via the FBI’s best friend, Zuckerberg’s WhatsApp.”

Patel said the Department of Justice “is on the line for my security with their dangerous actions.”

“This same FBI has been investigating death threats made against me due to baseless political overreach by government gangsters and in their greed for political vengeance, have threatened my safety again,” he continued. “Me, a former national security prosecutor, Deputy DNI, Chief of Staff for DoD, and lead investigator for Russia Gate – the very investigation they continue to work so hard to cover up.”

He concluded by saying “Brown Lives Matter” and adding, “These gangsters are on notice.”

Trump was essentially angry in the opposite, complaining about the extent to which the affidavit was redacted in his reactions on Friday.
