‘Just So We’re Clear’: Liberal Fox Host Shares Hamas Spox Vowing to Repeat Oct. 7th To Argue Against a Ceasefire

Fox News host Jessica Tarlov, who sits in the “liberal seat” on the top-rated show The Five, shared a clip of Hamas’s spokesman in late October vowing to repeat “time and again” their October 7th massacre of Israeli civilians, which included rape, torture, and beheading.
Tarlov shared the clip and added, “Just so we’re clear on what a ceasefire means for Israel.”
The clip was of Ghazi Hamad appearing on LBC TV in Lebanon on October 24th. During the interview, which was conducted in Arabic, Hamad said, “We will repeat the October 7 attack, time and again, until Israel is annihilated.”
“Everything we do is justified,” he added in a clip flagged online and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute.
Tarlov’s tweet comes as many on the left are calling for a ceasefire in Gaza as the death toll in the strip soars into the thousands as Israel continues its war against Hamas and efforts to stop the ongoing rocket fire into Israel.
Other recent interviews from Hamad have gone viral, including one with the BBC in which he walked off set when pressed on Hamas’s targeting of Israeli civilians.
MSNBC’s Chris Hayes shared that interview and added, “It has been…interesting I guess is the word that Hamas leadership has tried to deny and gaslight about their own atrocity rather than defend or celebrate it.”
“It suggests that even they know that slaughtering, torturing and burning men, women and children is indefensible,” Hayes added.
Journalist Lachlan Markay compared the two interviews online and captioned them, “Hamas in English, Hamas in Arabic,” offering another explanation for Hamad abruptly ending his BBC interview.
Below are some other reactions to the interview from across the political spectrum:
