Marjorie Taylor Greene Rips Trump Breaking Campaign Promises: ‘We’re Entering a Nuclear War, World War III’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) joined Steve Bannon’s WarRoom on Monday and fumed at President Donald Trump for breaking his campaign promise not to engage in wars in the Middle East.

“Tell you what, six months in, six months in, Steve, and here we are, turning back on the campaign promises, and we bombed Iran on behalf of Israel. Yes, it was on behalf of Israel. We are entering a nuclear war, the World War III, because the entire world is going to erupt,” Taylor Greene began, referring to Trump’s bombing of three nuclear sites in Iran on Saturday.

“And you want to know the people that are cheering it on right now? Their tune is going to drastically change the minute we start seeing flag-draped coffins on the nightly news, on Fox News that brainwashes all the baby boomers, and on CNN that brainwashes all the Democrat baby boomers,” she continued, taking a swipe at Fox News – something Bannon has done repeatedly in recent days.

“And that is exactly how this is going to go down. And you know the AI portion I want to address—that’s a bunch of crap. They should have never put that poison pill in the house version of the one big beautiful bill in the first place. I am a 100% no vote if it is still there because I get to vote again. I get to vote on it again when it comes back to the House, and I am not voting for a 10-year moratorium on state rights to make regulations and laws on AI. That is absurd,’ Greene continued, breaking again with Trump, this time on his sweeping budget bill.

During her conversation with Bannon, Greene also clapped back at Fox News host Mark Levin, who has attacked her stance on the Iran-Israel conflict, calling her a “nitwit.”

“You want to know what I have that Mark Levin doesn’t have? I have a voting card, Steve. I have voting card because I have a district that believes in the greatness of America, that believes in America First policies and desperately wants President Trump, his administration, and the Republican controlled House and Senate to enact and support this,” she said, arguing that she represents the American First movement more so than Levin.

Pro-MAGA commentators have engaged in a fierce war of words over U.S. intervention in Iran, with the likes of Levin and Sean Hannity lining up in favor, while Bannon and Tucker Carlson have opposed the U.S. getting involved. Bannon appeared to know the U.S. strike was happening ahead of Trump announcing it on Saturday, citing “pretty good sources.”
