Mika Brzezinski Goes After Nancy Mace for ‘Screaming’ at George Stephanopoulos: ‘She Was Acting Like an 8th Grader!’
Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski accused Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) of “acting like an 8th grader” during a fiery interview over the weekend with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.
In a Sunday interview, Mace accused Stephanopoulos of “shaming” her as a rape victim after he asked her how she can support Donald Trump in light of him being found civically liable for sexually assaulting and defaming E. Jean Carroll. Mace and Stephanopoulos sparred back and forth on the issue, with Mace dismissing Carroll’s judgement and accusing the writer of making a “mockery” of rape.
On Monday, Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough reacted to the clip and Brzesinki accused Mace of “shaming” Stephanopoulos.
“This is a woman who was leering and jeering Hunter Biden as he walked into the conference room when he tried to show up to testify in public and then ultimately their private testimony went very badly, but that’s a side issue,” she first noted.
At a House hearing in January, Mace told Hunter Biden, who was in attendance, he had “no balls.”
Brzezinski said the congresswoman’s recent interview showed the same childlike temperament.
“She was acting like an eighth grader, screaming at him,” she said.
Scarborough, who predicted a “pathway to loserdom” for Republicans this election season, asked how “stupid” Mace thinks voters are.
“They think that everybody is so stupid that they can do that sort of routine where she knows, she she knows she is defending, she is endorsing, she is all behind a man who a judge said raped another woman and then defamed her,” he said.
