‘Shame on You!’ Democratic Governor Shouted Down By Protestors Accusing Him of Supporting Israel’s ‘Genocide’

Colorado’s governor signed four gun control bills Friday, April 28, 2023, edging the once-purple state closer to liberal-leaning governments in California and New York just months after a shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, the latest in the state’s long history of notorious massacres.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis (D) was shouted down briefly by protestors on Wednesday night as he was interviewed on stage during the Axios Denver Power Players event.

A clip of the protestors interrupting the event and accusing Polis, who is Colorado’s first Jewish and openly gay governor, of supporting Israel “while they were committing genocide” went viral online Thursday. “You have blood on your hands,” yelled the protestor from a second floor overlooking the stage.

The event’s moderator, tried to reason briefly with the first protestor, saying, “If you wait a minute, I might ask a question you might like.”

The protestor continued yelling over the moderator, who asked for security, claiming Israel has “been ethnically cleansing Palestinians for the past 120 years.” “You are the governor of Colorado, not the governor of Tel Aviv,” the protestor continued, appearing to accuse Polis of dual loyalty.

The clip also showed two other protestors interrupting the event, getting closer to Polis on stage as he tried to continue with the interview.

“There is a genocide happening right now, and your rhetoric is providing cover for genocide,” one of the protestors shouted as she was escorted out of the event. “Shame. Shame on you!” another protester screamed at Polis in the clip.

The video was shared online by “MintPressNews,” which describes itself as “Independent watchdog journalism” and hosts the podcast of British rapper and longtime anti-Israel activist Kareem Dennis.
