Trump Fumes at Fox News For Airing Obama’s Blistering Speech Assailing His Presidency

President Donald Trump complained after Fox News decided to broadcast former President Barack Obama’s speech in support of his former Vice President and 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

As Fox News aired Obama’s speech in Orlando, Florida, Trump revealed to the world he was watching — declaring on Twitter, “Now @FoxNews is playing Obama’s no crowd, fake speech for Biden, a man he could barely endorse because he couldn’t believe he won.”

“Also, I PREPAID many Millions of Dollars in Taxes,” the president added, responding to Obama’s claims in the speech that Trump “doesn’t pay taxes,” “barely pays income taxes,” and “may be paying taxes to the Chinese.”

Trump was responding to Obama, who said, in his remarks, “First year in the White House, [Trump] only paid $750 in taxes. In federal income taxes. $750. Can you imagine that? I mean, teachers pay more than that.”

“You know, social workers pay more than that in taxes. Soldiers, folks in uniform pay more in taxes than that,” he continued. “So how are you living large and you are not willing to do the right thing to make sure that we’re able to pay for quality schools for our kids? To provide veterans benefits for those who’ve earned them?”

Trump took another shot at Fox News earlier on Tuesday, tweeting, “The biggest difference between now and 2016 is @FoxNews. They are a whole different deal.”

“Despite this, our campaign is doing much better, with bigger crowds and even more (much!) enthusiasm, than we had in 2016. Big Debate & SCOTUS Win! Real Polls have us winning everywhere!” he claimed.
