Trump Says He ‘Won Twice’ and ‘May Have to Run Again’ at SC Rally
At a rally in Florence, South Carolina on Saturday, ex-president Donald Trump continued his relentless refrain that he was the real winner of the 2020 election, and threatened that he may have to run again.
“Every day there is more overwhelming evidence that the 2020 election – and by the way it’s even beyond the standpoint of evidence, there is so much fact. It was corrupt, it was fraudulent and loaded up with irregularities,” said Trump. “In other words, it was rigged.”
Trump’s continued insistence that he actually won the 2020 election and false claims of having the presidency stolen from him are a permanent feature of all of his rallies and speeches. And the question of whether he will run again in 2024 is one that that he clearly enjoys teasing and floating, both to bait opponents and tantalize the voter base which he has never stopped tapping for cash.
“So I ran twice, I won twice, and I did much better the second time than we did the first, getting 12 million more votes,” Trump pretended.
“And now we may have to run again,” Trump said expansively to fire up his audience. And his audience was, of course, duly up-fired as he basked.
