Omarosa Manigault is leaving the White House, officially resigning from her post as Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison on January 20, though some reports have indicated that she has already been escorted from the grounds.
It is being called a resignation, but many believe that Chief of Staff John Kelly forced her out, with Daily Beast reporting his disdain for her was because she was known for “triggering” President Donald Trump.
The reality show villain’s tenure in the Trump administration was fraught with mishaps from her very first day on the job, including her decision to hold a wedding photoshoot at the White House without telling anybody.
She was also accused of “physically intimidating” White House correspondent April Ryan, with Secret Service members nearly having to step in to protect the journalist.
Omarosa, who was widely loathed by Trump staffers, once ridiculously opined “Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump.”
Finally, there’s that panel on police brutality she completely derailed, causing other panelists to literally turn their backs on her.
So, yeah, it’s been quite a run, and Twitter’s many media personalities are having one final laugh at the expense of the former Celebrity Apprentice contestant, who TV Guide once placed in their list of “The 60 Nastiest TV Villains of All Time.”
