President Donald Trump boarded Air Force One last night with a piece of toilet paper or a thin paper napkin stuck to the bottom of his shoe.
In a clip that has been widely shared on social media, Trump can be seen walking up the steps to enter Air Force One with the paper following him every step of the way. Trump eventually gets to the top, at which point he waves and proceeds to board the plane, which is when the paper eventually flew off his shoe. A person trailing behind Trump picked the piece of paper up before entering Air Force One.
The clip was shot while Trump was in the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, as he was visited the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN for a campaign rally last night.
The video quickly became a viral sensation, with some media figures using it to laugh at Trump:
I honestly cannot believe it’s taken this long for Trump to board Air Force One with a full strand of toilet paper trailing from his shoe. https://t.co/hLWrqKqsIK
