UFC Chief Dana White Tells Fox News That Trump Has More Heart Than ‘The Greatest Fighters of All-Time’

UFC CEO Dana White lavished heavy praise upon former President Donald Trump in a Fox News interview Saturday night.

Appearing on Fox News’ One Nation, White — who sat cageside with the former president at a UFC event in New Jersey last week — was asked by host Brian Kilmeade about how he perceives Trump’s heart.

“You know a fighter’s heart,” Kilmeade said. “You stare in more fighters’ eyes than anybody else to see what’s in there. Where does he rank at 77?”

“Number one,” White said. “Number one. Take any of the greatest fighters of all-time, Trump is number one. The most resilient human being that I’ve ever met in my life.”

“In what respect?” Kilmeade said, following up.

“Why keep doing this?” White replied. “You know, you’ve got money. You’ve got a great life … Why keep doing this? And the one thing that I can tell you — and this is a fact — this guy loves this country, right? And he loves all Americans, regardless of what color, religion or whatever it is. He’s not a racist. He’s a good human being, and he loves America, and he cares about this country. Period. End of story.”

The relationship between Trump and White goes back decades to when Trump’s Taj Mahal in Atlantic City was one of the first major venues to host a sport which was — in the 1990s — banned in many jurisdictions. White has since stood steadfastly behind the former president — even speaking on his behalf during the 2016 Republican National Convention.

When asked by Kilmeade if he would do it again at this summer’s confab, White was unequivocal.

“I’ll be there,” he said.
