Judge Upholds Congressional Subpoena for Trump Financial Records

A federal judge today upheld a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee for President Donald Trump‘s financial information.
U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta wrote that the committee has “facially valid legislative purposes” to request the information from Mazars:

Last week the judge, per the New York Times, had asked “sharply skeptical questions of a personal lawyer for President Trump” over the attempt to block the subpoena.
