Trump Tweets Out Picture in Oval Office on Christmas Eve: ‘Looking Forward to My Next Summit with Chairman Kim’

President Donald Trump is not going to be in Mar-a-Lago this Christmas and he really wants everyone to know it.

On  Monday, the president tweeted out an image of himself working in the Oval Office on Christmas Eve, along with the caption: “Christmas Eve briefing with my team working on North Korea – Progress being made. Looking forward to my next summit with Chairman Kim!”

A second North Korea summit — slated for sometime in 2019 — has been in the works since the fall although it is unclear why Trump chose Christmas Eve to highlight those plans.

What is clear, though, is that Trump is all alone (for now) in the White House today and isn’t exactly suffering in silence.

Earlier today, he lamented, “I am all alone (poor me) in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on desperately needed Border Security. At some point the Democrats not wanting to make a deal will cost our Country more money than the Border Wall we are all talking about. Crazy!”

That tweet came on the tail end of an earlier tweetstorm that touched on Saudi Arabia, his wall and in all-caps, “AMERICA IS RESPECTED AGAIN!”

Melania Trump
— who traveled without Trump to Mar-a-Lago — is headed back at the White House this afternoon.

UPDATE: Trump tweeted about working in the Oval Office on Christmas Eve — AGAIN.
