Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Mocks Fox News After Segment on Her Campaign Shoes
Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked Fox News again after a segment on the network about her shoes.
Ocasio-Cortez’ shoes from the campaign trail will be on display at a new exhibit at the Cornell Costume and Textile Collection called “Women Empowered: Fashions from the Frontline.” The exhibit will also feature apparel from Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Coretta Scott King.
On Fox News’ The Story last night, Ed Henry brought up the news to Rachel Campos-Duffy, noting “we talk about her a lot on Fox & Friends Weekend.”
Campos-Duffy actually defended Ocasio-Cortez (to Henry’s surprise) and said she deserves to be in the museum, but she couldn’t help but add, “She’s proposing that we bring socialism to our country right now. In Venezuela there are people who can’t afford shoes, don’t have shoes on their feet, because of what socialism has done to their country.”
After Ocasio-Cortez noticed on Twitter Fox News was talking about her again, she mockingly responded:
? No, no es amor/
Lo que tú sientes, se llama obsesión ? https://t.co/hQOlEbt26t— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@Ocasio2018) November 24, 2018
(For our monolingual friends, just play Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” here instead)

Yes, I am aware you can be bilingual and not speak Spanish. Thank you for your contribution.

Don’t worry, Fox News has made it clear that they are far superior to + more intelligent than me, who they’ve called a “little, simple person.” So I’m sure catching up to me in spoken languages shouldn’t be a problem for them.
One down. Just a few more to go! ? https://t.co/q2s4mYlfKl
