Brian Kilmeade Responds to Jimmy Kimmel’s Dis: ‘I Hope Your Son Gets Better’

Brian Kilmeade has a response to Jimmy Kimmel after the late night funnyman called the Fox News host a “phony little creep” for slamming his thoughts about the health care debate.

Kimmel went after Kilmeade last night after he was dismissed as a Hollywood elitist for continuing to speak in favor of the Affordable Care Act. Kimmel also claimed that even though Kilmeade criticizes him for foisting his political perspective on the country, that never stopped the Fox host from sucking up to him in the past.

On Thursday’s Fox & Friends, Kilmeade noted Kimmel’s passion in advocating for people with heart conditions like his son’s, but he also said Kimmel needs to engage more with the Republicans trying to repeal Obamacare.

“I hope your son gets better. I hope your son gets all the care he needs. I’m glad you’re interested, you’re doing a great job bringing the dialogue out. But you should do what we’re doing. Talk to the people that wrote it.”

Kilmeade said he liked Kimmel when he was a host on Fox Sports, and he also said he previously reached out to Kimmel when he wrote “The Games Do Count: America’s Best and Brightest on the Power of Sports” back in 2003.

“Continue to do a great job,” Kilmeade concluded. “Best luck with your son.”
