CNN’s Bakari Sellers Goes Off on Ed Martin: ‘Is Grabbing a Woman by the Vagina a Crime or Not?!’

A CNN panel on President Trump‘s Al Franken tweets went off the rails when the subject of the President’s own history came up.

During the 2016 campaign, multiple women came forward accusing Trump of sexual misconduct and worse, and, of course, that infamous Access Hollywood tape where Trump bragged about grabbing women “by the pussy” dropped.

So when Trump weighed in on Franken’s gross behavior this week, it reeked of hypocrisy.

Alice Stewart noted how the President lacks “the moral high ground,” but Ed Martin said the admission from Franken is key because he may have admitted “an actual crime.”

Bakari Sellers told Martin that he thinks Franken should resign, but also thinks that Roy Moore doesn’t deserve to be in the Senate and Trump doesn’t deserve to be President.

He brought up past gross comments from the President, including that Access Hollywood tape, and he bewilderedly told Martin it’s “an indictment on you” that he can’t see harassment and gross behavior as a non-partisan issue.

Martin countered that Franken “confessed to crimes,” but Sellers immediately asked, “Is grabbing a woman by the vagina a crime or not?!”

Stewart and Sellers reminded Martin what Trump bragged about on that tape, and anchor John Berman went ahead and just played it.
