CNN’s Don Lemon: We Won’t ‘Aid and Abet the People’ Pushing Susan Rice ‘Diversion’

CNN’s Don Lemon tonight slammed President Trump for “trying to make a lie true” by looking for justifications for his now-infamous wiretapping tweet.

As Lemon put it, the White House is using the president’s Twitter account, the press briefing room, and “right-wing media” to keep this going. He then brought up the news today that Susan Rice was allegedly behind the unmasking of Trump team members and said the following:

“Let us be very clear about this. There is no evidence whatsoever that the Trump team… was spied on illegally. There is no evidence that backs up the president’s original claim. And on this program tonight, we will not insult your intelligence by pretending otherwise, nor will we aid and abet the people who are trying to misinform you, the American people, by creating a diversion.”
