‘CRINGE’: Eric Bolling Roasts Republican Sen. Katie Britt For ‘Embarrassing’ and ‘Phony’ GOP Response to Biden’s SOTU

Newsmax host Eric Bolling roasted Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) for her “phony” and “embarrassing” response to President Joe Biden’s State Of The Union address.

Following Biden’s SOTU address on Thursday, the Alabama lawmaker delivered a response from her kitchen where she attacked the Biden administration over the flood of migrants crossing the southern border and other talking points, in a speech that did not count Bolling among the fans.

Her speech was mocked for being inauthentic by Democrats and media pundits mostly on the left after she gave it, but Bolling had his own criticisms.

The Newsmax host turned up the heat on Britt during his monologue on Friday’s edition of The Balance, claiming she “represents what’s wrong with the Republican party.”

The supposed rising Republican star was given a chance to deliver a powerful and fiery rebuttal to Biden’s State of the Union address, but instead delivered a somewhat, I don’t know, phony, maybe out of touch speech that didn’t mention Trump or relate to the American people…

Kind of melodramatic. Wasn’t that one bit embarrassing? Doesn’t really come as a surprise that Mitch McConnell handpicked that senator, and she delivered a response that reflected so poorly with the party. And why can’t every Republican, every single Republican learn, those days are over. It’s a nationalist, populist party now.
