Ed Schultz and Dana Loesch to Fight About Something, We Just Don’t Know What

Conservative radio host Dana Loesch threw herself into the back-and-forth going on this week between her boss Glenn Beck and MSNBC’s Ed Schultz.

After Beck publicly confessed that, on top of all his other ailments, he has a neurological disorder, Schultz tied it to the controversy over Obamacare and the uninsured. Beck, an Obamacare critic, responded that Schultz was making a “third-grade argument” and that his condition had nothing to do with Obamacare.

“Just watched Beck in his response. It started with a cheap shot. I lost interest after that,” Schultz wrote Wednesday on Twitter.

“If you dislike ‘cheap shots’ stop making a career built on them,” sniped Loesch, then referring to the time Schultz called conservative radio host Laura Ingraham a “talk slut.”

Schultz replied that he had at least not taken any shots at Beck and his health problem. He also challenged Loesch to come on his show “face to face.”

After some back and forth to decide who would appear on whose show, the two apparently got on the phone to work things out, per Schultz’s subsequent tweets.

First: “I have sent Dana my personal cell number. She questions my authenticity. Chicken! Call me Dana, let’s set up the interview about health care.”

Then: “Just talked to Dana, very nice and professional person. We are going to work on this tomorrow morning. Tech issues. All good!”

Will the two face off?

Loesch tweeted Thursday that the two are “figuring out the details for tonight. Schultz is on during my break between radio and TV. Will keep you updated.”

Schultz’s MSNBC program airs at 5 p.m. ET.
