Elizabeth Warren Heckled With Chants of ‘We Trusted You!’ During DNC Speech

Even as the crowd at the Democratic National Convention became warmer and more unified as night one of the festivities progressed, there were still some holdouts from the Bernie Sanders crowd who could not be shamed into silence. During Massachusetts Senator and progressive icon Elizabeth Warren‘s speech, a couple of Bernie Bros took advantage of the audience’s rapt attention to persistently chant “We trusted you! We trusted you!” over and over again:

Warren soldiered on, and apparently, the hecklers couldn’t interest anyone else in their refrain.
