GOP Congressman Shows Off His Adorable Baby On Fox Business While Talking About Baby Formula Crisis
Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL) showed off his adorable baby on Fox Business on Thursday while discussing the baby formula crisis.
Appearing on Varney and Co., host Stuart Varney asked Waltz about President Joe Biden invoking the Defense Production Act in response to the baby formula shortage.
Waltz then showed off his baby, Armie Waltz, who was born on Jan. 7.
“This is baby Armie. Look, Stu, I’ve served all over the world, Africa, the Middle East, I’ve seen where children are malnourished when they don’t get what they need. I never thought I’d see this in the United States. We’ve been struggling as parents to find formula now for months, so why is the Biden administration just now kind of waking up, caught flat-footed, out of touch to take this on?” said Waltz.
“At the end of the day parents have to feed their kids and get the nutrition they need. He [invoked] the Defense Production Act. Why didn’t he do that months ago? Why didn’t Congress move months ago? We’re just now voting on this stuff last night,” he continued.
On Wednesday, the House of Representatives passed two bills that seek to address the baby formula shortage. One bill passed almost unanimously, while the other was passed mostly along partisan lines.
Varney said that Armie “looks like a great young man.”
